Who can submit a blog entry?
We invite current and former University of Iowa students and faculty, and Iowa community members from the Library and Information Science discipline (and any related disciplines) to submit content on a rolling basis.
What can I submit?
We accept submissions between 500 and 3000 words, preferably written in colloquial style. Please feel free to use images, embedded links, and other multimedia to communicate and enhance your submission. Both academic and creative pieces describing individual research, reports, internship experiences, and personal reflections on library and information science topics are accepted. While all submissions should be related in some way to the field of Library and Information Science, compositions from related, non-library science professions and multidisciplinary perspectives are also encouraged.
How to submit a blog entry:
To contribute to The B Sides Project, please email an attachment of your submission (and any associated images or multimedia) to firstname.lastname@example.org. Included in your submission should be your name, profession, and contact information.
After you submit your piece, the editors of The B Sides Project will review your submission to ensure it aligns with the blog‘s mission.
